What are prophetic Nests?A Prophetic Nest is a gathered community of emerging Prophets, established Prophets or those prophetically gifted, led by a commissioned leader who is a member of the Global Prophetic Alliance (GPA).
-
What is the purpose of a Nest?A Prophetic Nest is for prophetic encouragement, training, equipping, sharpening and mutual support of its members.
-
When and who can join a nest?Nest members can be recruited by Nest leaders. Potential members can approach a specific leader and request to join their Nest. Potential Nest members within GPA EP programme can contact the Prophetic Nest manager who will send a short application form and allocate where possible according to the member’s wishes as to type and location of Nest.
-
How and where do Nests meet?Prophetic Nests can meet either in a geographical location or as a virtual community. Either way it is recommended that they are relatively informal so as to foster deep relationships and encourage mutual growth
-
How often do Nests meet?Nests meet a minimum of monthly but most will have more frequent communication throughout the month via social media or alternative communication platforms
-
What do I do if I want to leave or change Nest?We at GPA recognise that there may be reasons why you want to leave or change Nests eg a change in geography. Nest members should discuss this first and foremost with their Nest leader. The Nest leader should then email the Prophetic Nest manager and complete the necessary paperwork. If the Nest member wishes to be reallocated to an alternative Nest then they should follow the guidelines as to how to join a Nest.
-
Can I lead a Nest?Anyone who has completed or is in the second year of GPA Emerging Prophets training programme is eligible to apply via the Prophetic Nest Manager (sometimes the Prophetic Nest manager will carry out an informal interview with the applicant if further information is required to aid decision making). Nest leaders are commissioned by GPA and must therefore meet the criteria and adhere to the beliefs, aims, vision and core values of the organisation (see briefing document).
