GPA Network Membership - Best PracticesWe expect that all those who align with GPA will participate in financially supporting the ministry of Global Prophetic Alliance at some level. Please see the notes on finances at https://support.propheticscots.com/global-prophetic-alliance-network/giving-to-the-gpa-network/ All Global Prophetic Alliance members and associates must conduct their personal; life, family, finances, and ministry in agreement with the principles and moral standards of Scripture. They should hold an exemplary reputation and testimony with those outside of the body of Christ.
-
Best Practices - Leaders & OrganisationsWe expect that you will take the responsibilities listed above seriously. For example, if you, as a senior leader, cannot attend at least one GPA even each year then a representative from your church or ministry could take your place and take back a report of what they saw and experienced. Try to have one of the HQ Hub senior team visit your church/ministry within the first year of association (busy calendars permitting) – expenses and honoraria would be covered by the host church and ministry.

Does Global Prophetic Alliance offer Ordination and/or Licence?Yes, at the appropriate levels of association we may be able to offer ordination or licence to minister. Remember that, first and foremost, GPA is a relational network and so please allow time for us to mutually get to know each other before discussing this further. Any GPA members who leave the association would lose their ordination or licence credentials. Please note that GPA ordination or licence to minister these will not provide you with the legal authority to conduct, for example, marriages in the UK.

What are my responsibilities as part of the Global Prophetic Alliance? The Global Prophetic Alliance seeks to foster mature, two-way relationships. The responsibilities and expectations that go into healthy relationships work both ways. The following points outline the good practices that all GPA members should adopt. (You can read about some of the things that members can expect from the GPA HQ here) 1. You’ll recognise that good communication is really important in a relationship. Therefore, please make every effort to keep us updated with your news, stats and prayer needs (via your point of contact).

How often will GPA members hear from Emma?In addition to private GPA meetings that we will schedule around conference gatherings, Emma will also communicate to GPA associates through videos or webcasts. Emma loves to hear personally from everyone in the network (e.g. emails, reports via GPA point-of-contact) but is unfortunately not able to respond directly, personally, to everything, due to her busy schedule and large sphere of connection.
-
Does GPA have a statement of beliefs?Yes we do. It’s a fairly standard evangelical Christian statement of faith and is available to read at www.propheticalliance.com
-
Do I have to leave my current denomination or network to join Global Prophetic Alliance?Absolutely not. You are free to remain part of other networks and to benefit from the connections that they may offer you that GPA cannot. What we do ask is that you identify to us your other accountability relationships, so that we all have a clear understanding of where lines of authority lie.
-
I am a senior church leader. Do I choose to associate at the ‘Leaders’ level or the ‘Organisations’You/your spouse should consider associating with us at the ‘Leaders’ level. The church/ministry you lead will become associated with GPA through you. If you are not ready to associate at the ‘Leaders’ level or you are not the senior leader of your church/organisation then your church/organisation should associate at the ‘Organisation’ level.

Giving to the GPA NetworkThe GPA is a non-profit charity. We warmly welcome all donations - in fact, without the generosity of our financial supporters we would not be able to do what we do for the Kingdom of God (we do not receive funding from anywhere else). GPA Network Members (those who apply to formally align with the Global Prophetic Alliance) are strongly encouraged to support the ministry through monthly freewill giving.

What are GPA's responsibilities to its network members? The Global Prophetic Alliance seeks to foster mature, two-way relationships. The responsibilities and expectations that go into healthy relationships work both ways. The following points outline some of the things that members can expect from the GPA HQ. (You can read about the good practices that all GPA members should adopt here). 1. We recognise that family-time, with opportunities to share with each other, is really important. Therefore we’ll aim to host private GPA member meetings before or after our major annual conferences.

Do couples associate together or individually? We always consider married couples as a ministry unit (with the exception of Prophetic Nest leaders and Emerging Prophets). We therefore commission, ordain or licence married couples together. If this is an issue please talk to us.
